Mary
OWNER & DIRECTOR
Mary has a deep passion for all things related to hair. She finds joy in watching how a haircut takes shape from start to finish, paying close attention to the movement of the hair. Mary loves synchronizing her wide range of skills with client care, building strong relationships from visit to visit.
Beyond the salon, Mary is driven by a mission: as a business and life coach, she helps people unlock their full potential, crush their goals, and build lives that match their dreams. Outside of work, Mary is dedicated to her family, friends, walking, gardening, and being an active part of her wider community.
In 2017, Mary spearheaded a fundraising initiative alongside Peter and the Rotary Club of Dromana, raising $27,000 for the local hospital.
Peter
OWNER & DIRECTOR
Peter is passionate about cutting men’s hair, specializing in traditional barber styles. He loves connecting with his clients and is known for his quick, professional service, earning numerous recommendations.
Peter’s family bought the salon in the late ’70s, and he continued the legacy by purchasing the original Men’s Barber Shop in 1984.
Outside of the barber shop, Peter enjoys his garage space and is a hands-on man willing to tackle any project, including serving as the head chef at home. He is also a past President of the Rotary Club of Dromana and is deeply committed to his community.
